The blue tarps are off and the roof is done. The roof line has been
raised 3 inches and insulation added and the new pressure-treated pine
shake-shingles (a more renewable of a resource) are installed. In the
windows, the textured glass panes have been replaced with clear glass.
The flooring, internal walls and other interior structures have been
removed. The other big news is that our architect, Jim Hambright, now has some
help with the addition of the Pazden-Smith Group architectural firm.
They will handle the plans for the mechanical (HVAC, electrical, etc.),
civil (water, sewer, etc.) and oversee the completion of the interior. A
thank you to Jim for his contribution of his excellent talent and energy
to this project.
