Park hours are:  Winter: 9am - 6pm  Summer: 9am - 9pm 
Admission to the park is: $2.00 for ages 16 – 64 $1.25 for seniors or disabled Children under 16 are free
  • Or, obtain a ParkPass for $50 per year ($25 per year for S.C. seniors or disabled).  Membership in The Friends is included.  Passengers in the same vehicle are admitted to parks around the state.  Order one here.

  • Paris Mountain State Park is located on S.C. 253 (State Park Road), six miles north of downtown Greenville.  

  • For further information, call the park office at 244-5565 during office hours: 11:00 – 12 noon and 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.

Friends Annual Winter Social

Hors d’oevres are served followed by dinner. Bring a salad, vegetable or dessert and everything else is furnished. There will be entertaining and educational events for us to enjoy. Join the Friend of Paris Mt. State Park and attend!

Identifying Trees in Winter

Jimmy Walters, a SC State forester, will share clues for identifying leafless trees and those with needles. On a non-strenuous walk, he will share facts about how to recognize many types of trees so we can enjoy the outdoors more than ever.

Turtle and More Turtles

Mary Lou Jones, former biology and Roper Mt. Science Center teacher, will present an interactive program which will include living turtles. This program is for all ages. You won’t want to miss this one!

Annual Friends Day Celebration

Admission to the park is free on this day of celebration. Many of the favorites will return plus some new ones: educational booths and demonstrations, music, math trail hikes, lots of canoes and plenty of food.  Definitely fun for all ages.

Events run from 11 AM to 5 PM.
